Sled Dawg Brewery
Sled Dawg isn’t a huge brewery – it is smaller and gives coffee shop vibes
Located in the historic downtown area of Greenwood, Sled Dawg is nestled in the corner of two buildings. If you aren’t paying attention, you could miss it. But once you go inside, you’ll be so happy you found it! We visited the brewery during our trip to Elijah Clark State Park.
Sled Dawg isn’t a huge brewery – it is smaller and gives coffee shop vibes. The inside, with its wood paneling and deer heads, makes it feel cozy as well. There is also an outside seating area, so if you bring a dog, y’all can hang out together!

There are a great variety of drinks at Sled Dawg Brewery
21 drinks were on tap, including several different beers, a couple of ciders, and even hard tea and hard pink lemonade. I tried the Orange Creamsicle Sour (a milkshake sour) and the Blonde Dragon (a dragon fruit blonde ale). Jesse had the BA Habanero Stout and Scottish Ale. He preferred the Habanero Stout. I really enjoyed the Blonde Dragon. I was hesitant to order it because I wasn’t sure if I would like the dragon fruit flavor, but the bartender recommended it, and she was right! It was light and fruity, a perfect summer beer.
Sled Dawg is family and pet friendly. There are so many beers and drinks that there is something for everyone! The bartender was so nice, and you can tell there is a happy and close-knit atmosphere behind the scenes of the brewery. I wish this place wasn’t located four hours away from our house! When we go camping again at Elijah Clark State Park, we will happily make the long drive over to visit again!
Happy Trails!
