Omaha Brewing Company

After going on a canyon hike and having a lakeside picnic, you are probably going to think you deserve a cold one. But is there a brewery out in the middle of nowhere by Providence Canyon State Park or Florence Marina State Park? Will you have to drive an hour away just to have a refreshing sour? Good news! There is an awesome brewery just 11 minutes away from Florence Marina and 21 minutes away from Providence Canyon! Located in the middle of a field is Omaha Brewing Company.

This is by far one of my favorite breweries. The first reason is because this is the first brewery Jesse and I ever visited together! We had gone on a hike at Providence Canyon in 2020, and then after that we saw the large signs for Omaha Brewing Company and gave it a shot. This was the very first hike and brew combo before Trails and Tap was even a thing. So I have a sentimental love for it. The second reason is because they have amazing beer! I will never forget the first beer I had there and how refreshing it was post-hike. The third reason I love it is because the brewery has a lot of alligator things in it. Their logo even has an alligator on it. Alligators are one of my favorite animals. This might be a silly reason, but it’s still a reason!

Omaha Brewing Company’s mascot is an alligator named Enoch.

Omaha Brewing Company has a large variety of beverages. When we visited, they had eight beers on tap, five hard sparkling waters, three wines, and three CBD waters available. Jesse and I tried the I’m Your Huckleberry Sour, the Gnat Knocker Munich Helles Lager, Yippie Ki Yay IPA, and the Spring Forward Summer Stout. The Huckleberry Sour was so good, it tasted like a really good berry juice. Jesse liked the Yippie Ki Yay the most.

Omaha Brewing Company - Trails & Tap

Omaha Brewing Company has something for everyone with their large assortment of drinks. There is tons of space at the brewery to sit inside or outside. Cornhole, pool, and board games are available. Omaha is puppy friendly as well. The staff is friendly and easy to talk to. If you are in the area, don’t skip out on Omaha Brewing Company!

Happy Trails!
