Grumpy Old Men Brewing – Blue Ridge Georgia

Grumpy Old Men Brewing in Blue Ridge has great beer and a lively taproom!

After finishing up our hike along Long Creek Falls Trail, we headed into the town of Blue Ridge for a cold beer at Grumpy Old Men Brewing. Although this brewery is in the same town as the trail, it took about 25 minutes to drive from the Long Creek Falls to the taproom! Grumpy Old Men Brewing Company in Blue Ridge, Georgia is the perfect spot for beer lovers to quench their thirst. Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, this small-town brewery is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

This is a nice brewery, with plenty of outside and inside seating. Out front of the brewery is a massive military truck, giving it a unique character – Something we certainly haven’t seen at other breweries. It was busy for a Monday evening because it was Singo Night, aka music bingo. There were 25 beers and 1 seltzer on tap. There were also soda options for those who don’t drink. Beer flights are available for $12.

Grumpy Old Men Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four locals who all had a passion for craft beer. They wanted to create a brewery that provided handcrafted, quality beer to the local community. Since then, they have grown to become one of the most popular breweries in the area.

Jesse had the Blue Ridge Classic American Lager and the Bear Creek American Amber Ale. He liked the Blue Ridge Classic better because it was a nice light beer. I had the More Than a Margarita Sour Gose. I normally try more than one beer, but I loved this one so much that I didn’t order anything else. More Than a Margarita is a pink beer that is blackberry, lime, and sea salt flavored. So good!

If you’re looking for a great spot to enjoy a cold beer and a delicious meal, look no further than Grumpy Old Men Brewing Company in Blue Ridge, Georgia. With their unique brews and delicious food, it’s no wonder why this local brewery is a favorite among beer lovers.
